Morgan has been teaching theatre in Kelowna since 2019 and is thrilled to begin leading summer camps at the Kelowna Arts Academy. She has been involved in musical theatre since the age of eight and has loved every minute of it.
Now in her fourth year at UBC Okanagan, Morgan is studying anthropology and plans to enter the education program with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
Teaching and musical theatre are two of Morgan’s greatest passions, and she feels incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to combine the two. She loves working with young performers and watching them grow, learn new skills, and build their confidence. It has been a privilege to pass on her love of theatre to the next generation, and she feels grateful to be part of each student’s creative journey. Morgan finds ongoing joy in supporting young performers as they explore the arts, while creating a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all students in her classes.
Riley is proud to bring a blend of teaching, leadership, and creative experience to the team. His time managing New Vintage Theatre’s summer camp program, combined with his time teaching with Pixie & Dot Productions, has shaped him into a flexible, thoughtful, and fun educator!
Riley's teaching philosophy is simple. Learning should be fun! Riley knows that when students feel excited and supported, they grow faster and build real confidence. This belief leads him to focus on the learning experience, rather than only focusing on a final "product". His work was recently recognized by the City of Kelowna, who selected him to share his creative perspective through their Creative Youth Perspective Program.
Riley is passionate about guiding students toward becoming expressive, confident performers who can authentically connect with the music and make it their own.
